Your New Role

A key to growth is our ability to reach, engage and expand marketing campaigns with regional & local partners. We are now looking for a talented individual with a deep understanding of the entertainment business to drive the marketing strategy, working side by side with our partnership team. We work with a wide range of partnerships including global platforms, marketplaces, loyalty programs, Pay TV & ISP providers, leading fintech firms and global platforms (In-App-Purchase).

Partnerships are a key vertical for Max expansion in the region. We are always seeking to create ways to support and drive conversations about our titles and brand locally working with partners to develop common storytelling in cutting edge, creative ways. We are looking for a talented professional who enjoys managing and growing relationships with partners and is comfortable owning the full life cycle of partner marketing projects from end-to-end creative strategy to execution. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the entertainment industry, having worked and or interacted with digital roles/ teams.

As a key point of contact for marketing questions regarding Digital partnerships, the candidate will provide a critical alignment between business development, product, content, and brand marketing teams to achieve business goals in the region. To do so the Partner Marketing Director will work closely with several stakeholders internally and externally and ultimately be responsible for setting the marketing strategy, ensuring business objectives are met and extending our content story across a wide array of partner marketing efforts.

Your Role Accountabilities

  • Lead and own the marketing relationship with Digital Max partners to boost growth, engagement, awareness across Latam.
  • Team with Brand Marketing and coordinate wholesale linear efforts to increase authentication rates (linear HBO Pack Subscribers have access to Max with partners credentials).
  • Works closely cross functionally with Marketing, Product, Partnerships, Content, Public Relations, Legal and Creative services teams to identify opportunities to bring Max in the core of our partners marketing campaign and across their channels.
  • Understands the potential and reach of media value offered by partnerships deals
  • Leads creatively Max content usage in partner campaigns, owning partner feedback loop and consumer-facing output.
  • Brings alternative ideas/plans for win backs, save/retention offer, sampling, free trials and buy flows improvement opportunities
  • Engages with high quality standards to align point of sale materials (digital and OOH)
  • Introduce new partners and their marketing teams to the Max brand and offer creative guidance, tools, and expertise to elevate creative output and inventive storytelling.

Qualifications & Experiences

  • Has at least 10 years of experience working in the digital space of the Entertainment/Content industry is essential (i.e. digital distributor, streaming, pay tv, telecommunication, movie studio, etc);
  • Is passionate about Entertainment, Technology, Arts, and Advertising.
  • Is capable of managing multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously without the support of a large team, working both independently and in close collaboration with a wide variety of stakeholders;
  • Has an impeccable track record of cultivating relationships and a deep level of respect with top brand and agency marketers and management
  • Has team leadership skills both, locally and different countries.
  • Has great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English
