We're looking for an experienced Director, Marketing Strategy and Analytics to join our Zscaler team.This is a hybrid role local to our San Jose, CA office. Reporting to the, VP, Marketing Strategy and Analytics you'll be responsible for:

  • Data Insights: Analyze data from various sources (e.g. spend data, customer profile and web/app browsing behavior) to produce stories to inform marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with AMS Field Marketing / SDR team to understand core business and opportunities to generate & accelerate pipeline 
  • Performance Analysis: Evaluate performance of marketing campaigns by measuring metrics like lead quality, conversion rates, pipeline generation, and return on investment (ROI). 
  • Collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources to integrate account level insights, including marketing automation tools, CRM system/SFDC, Snowflake etc.
  • Customer Segmentation: Work with data science, demand generation teams to learn about customer segmentation strategies, and tailor campaigns to specific audience segments to drive incremental spend. Work with the Ops team to evaluate our technology stack and review, manage the attributes in our Customer Data Platform.

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree, plus 10-12 years in analytics, data analysis and/or consulting roles.  
  • Expertise in aggregating, organizing and analyzing big data sets.  Strong proficiency of SQL and experience with integration work between data warehouse platforms (Snowflake) 
  • Strong familiarity with marketing KPIs and having a passion for storytelling across our marketing performance 
  • Solid understanding of marketing technology platforms, and Data Governance as applied to Marketing, including Media Performance, Digital Attribution, Web Analytics, e-Commerce Analytics, Salesforce CRM, Marketing Automation tools, CDP, DMP, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with Visualization tools such as SFDC and Tableau with the ability to focus on design and the user experience

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience with several stakeholder teams - Sales leadership, Product Marketing, Global/Regional marketing, IT/Data Strategy, Sales Ops, Finance, Channel
  • Working knowledge of Python, R and comparable statistical analysis tools
  • 3-4 years of experience in data science to help drive experimental designs, hypothesis testing.

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range
$161,000$230,000 USD
