Job Summary:

The Finance Director will play a critical role in shaping the financial future of our organization. This role will serve as the Finance Leader for WebMD Health Services, a division of WebMD, This individual will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the $150MM+ segment, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and providing strategic guidance to support our business goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive financial expertise, and a passion for advancing the health technology sector.

This role will report into the Vice President Finance of WebMD.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s business goals and growth objectives.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Oversee the preparation of accurate budgets and forecasts; monitor financial performance against these benchmarks.
Financial Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team based across the U.S. and in Vietnam, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate financial performance and strategies to the executive team, board of directors, and investors.
Process Improvement: Continuously improve financial processes, and systems, and internal financial reporting to enhance efficiency, and accuracy, and strategic usefulness of reports.
Strategic Collaboration: Regular collaboration with the WebMD Health Services leadership team on existing and future business strategy, including the integration of acquired entities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record in financial planning, analysis, and management within a technology or healthcare environment.
Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and risk management.
Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with executive management and external stakeholders.
Experience with financial software and systems; proficiency in [specific software/tools] is a plus.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
