Position Overview:
ShyftLabs is seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. The DevOps Engineer will partner with application developers to automate and accelerate the testing, release, and deployment of applications into a runtime environment quickly and reliably while ensuring high availability and uptime. You will be responsible for working with a team to develop, optimize, and deliver cloud computing solutions, and development environments through the development life cycle.

Job Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure solutions ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
Automate infrastructure setup and deployment processes using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
Configure and maintain Kubernetes clusters on EKS, Fargate, or ECS for containerized applications.
Develop and maintain Docker containers and orchestration using Docker Compose.
Implement SSL/TLS certificates setup using Open SSL, Lets Encrypt, and manage Nginx Load Balancers.
Troubleshoot issues related to Linux operating systems and automate routine tasks to improve efficiency.
Write scripts in Python and Shell to automate repetitive tasks and improve system administration.
Ensure high availability and performance of production systems through monitoring, alerting, and capacity planning.
Stay updated with the latest DevOps technologies and best practices, and evaluate their applicability to the existing infrastructure.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience in GCP is mandatory
The candidate should have good hands on AWS Solution Architect and AWS Devops Engineer Level Knowledge.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
AWS components like VPC , Load Balancers , Cloud Front , Route 53 , AWS Infrastructure Setup and Automation skills with Code Build , Code Deploy , Lambda Functions , S3 bucket.
Kubernetes , EKS , Fargate , ECS, Docker Containers , Docker Compose.
CI/CD Pipeline setup using Github Actions.
Open SSL setup knowledge , Lets Encrypt , Nginx Load Balancers.
Must have good Linux Operating System Knowledge , Troubleshooting , Automating regular tasks.
Terraform , ansible, CloudFormation, Python , Git, Shell Scripting.
3+ Experience in Java is mandatory
