We are currently looking to add an experienced Development Tester (DevQA) to our already amazing team. If you’re an experienced Quality Assurance tester with a passion for games, then this could be the role you have been waiting for! As a “Snowmie” DevQA you will have the opportunity to apply your skills in the game development industry, whilst working in a creative, supportive environment. You will have a direct impact on the development of top-tier games on console, PC, and mobile platforms.

Some of the cool stuff you’ll be doing:
- Working closely with client studios to bring their games to life
- Providing developers with feedback on implemented features
- Creating test artifacts (test plans, test cases and test scripts)
- Executing or supervising the execution of those test artifacts
- Facilitating or performing several testing techniques on multiple game components and features to identify defects
- Building a solid relationship with your game development peers in-house and around the world
- Supporting your teammates as an integral part of the dev team: identify problems early in the development cycle, report issues when needed while providing follow-up, and ensuring that QA procedures are following Agile methodologies.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- You enjoy being part of a creative, technical and dynamic problem-solving team
- 2+ years of software test engineering or relevant QA experience
- You bring a highly collaborative, supportive and innovative approach to teamwork
- You are autonomous and proactive in looking ahead for issues, with superior time management and organizational skills
- You are a critical thinker, and a strong communicator with good interpersonal skills while being flexible and adaptable to change
- Experienced with defect management systems and game development tools
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, source control and document collaboration tools
Bonus Points for experience in the following areas:
- Scripting languages
- Programming experience with C++ and C#
- Experience working in Unreal, Unity and custom game engines
- Superior working knowledge of JIRA, Visual Studio, Excel, Perforce and Confluence
- Knowledge of multiple source control systems
- Agile Scrum practices, certification is a bonus
- ISTQB certification or equivalent
- A love for gaming
- Shipped games or apps
- Experience working directly with external clients
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in game development or equivalent experience
