Job Description

As a Cyber Engagement Lead at Mandiant, Google Cloud, you'll be responsible for managing and executing cybersecurity projects for clients across various industries. This involves creating resource plans, managing budgets and timelines, engaging with stakeholders, leading high-performing teams, and creating project reports. You will also be involved in pre-sales activities and ensuring adherence to enterprise policies. The role requires experience in project management within technology programs, particularly in regulated environments. Technical understanding of computer science, operating systems, networking, cloud services, and cybersecurity threats is essential. Responsibilities include managing project risks, fostering collaboration, and communicating effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

Must have:

4+ years project management experience in cyber defense
Experience managing projects with multiple partners
Understanding of information security programs and standards
Excellent communication and decision-making skills
Create and manage resource plans for project delivery

Good to have:

9+ years of relevant project management experience
Experience with project management tools
Familiarity with ISO27000, NIST CSF, etc.
Ability to develop and maintain project risk registers

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in project management building cyber-defense capabilities for multiple customers across different industry verticals.
Experience in managing projects within technology programs with multiple delivery partners in regulated environments, operational service delivery, or aviation.

Preferred qualifications:

9 years of experience in project management building cyber-defense capabilities for multiple customers across different industry verticals.
Experience with project management tools.
Understanding of the components that comprise an information security program, security policies, procedures, and cyber security standards such as ISO27000, NIST CSF, BNM RMIT, MAS TRM, etc.
Ability to develop and maintain project risk, issue registers, identify and report variances and issues, provide assistance and coordination for risk mitigation.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate with executives and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
Excellent business acumen and decision-making skills in a service delivery environment.

As a Security Consultant, you will be responsible for helping clients effectively prepare for, proactively mitigate, and detect and respond to cyber security threats. Security Consultants have an understanding of computer science, operating system functionality and networking, cloud services, corporate network environments and how to apply this knowledge to cyber security threats.

As a Security Consultant, you could work on engagements including assisting clients in navigating technically complex and high-profile incidents, performing forensic analysis, threat hunting, and malware triage. You may also test client networks, applications and devices by emulating the latest techniques to help them defend against threats, and will be the technical advocate for information security requirements and provide an in-depth understanding of the information security domain. You will also articulate and present complex concepts to business stakeholders, executive leadership, and technical contributors and successfully lead complex engagements alongside cross functional teams.

Responsibilities

Create and manage resource plans to support project delivery. Manage and execute projects within the budget and timeline and leverage modern project management techniques.
Engage with stakeholders, users, and subject matter experts to pursue and deliver projects. Lead a high-performing engagement delivery team, and encourage an accountable performance culture.
Create and maintain project plans, as well as provide accurate and timely reports on project status. Focus on objectives, capabilities, and service results and benefits. Identify and manage project risks and opportunities.
Engage with internal stakeholders and customers on consulting pre-sales and support actions to enhance visibility on the consulting practice.
Adhere to enterprise policies and systems, including finance, safety, environmental, risk, and compliance. Demonstrate safety behaviors consistent with enterprise strategies, and manage projects according to accountability requirements.
