Job Description

The Contracting Operations Manager at Google will support the agreement lifecycle, from drafting and negotiation to execution and renewal. This role involves collaborating with external vendors, drafting and reviewing agreements, ensuring compliance, and assisting in negotiations. The manager will support relationship management with vendors and outsourced partners, ensuring alignment with agreement terms and SLAs. Responsibilities include providing scaled operations support and bringing excellence to Google-wide sourcing, supplier, and contract management, ensuring velocity, efficiency, and security in Google's buying processes. The role requires strong contract management experience, legal knowledge, and proficiency with contract management software.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
7+ years in contract management, legal, or procurement
Experience drafting, reviewing, and finalizing agreements
Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
Support agreement lifecycle from drafting to renewal

Good to have:

Advanced degree or certifications in Contract Management
Experience managing extended workforce agreements
Proficiency in contract management software
Ability to manage agreements and collaborate with legal teams

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
7 years of experience in contract management, legal, or procurement roles, with a focus on overseeing the agreement life-cycle.
Experience in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing agreements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Preferred qualifications:

Advanced degree or certifications in Contract Management, Business Law, or a related field.
Experience in managing extended workforce agreement functions or tasks, and overseeing and managing the performance of extended workforce functions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and quality standards.
Experience in ensuring compliance with these requirements throughout the agreement lifecycle.
Proficiency in using contract management software and tools to streamline and automate contract management processes.
Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to contract management.
Ability to manage agreements and collaborate effectively with legal teams to optimize agreement processes, including negotiation and issue resolution.

Draft, review, and finalize agreements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Provide support and assistance in agreement negotiations, terms clarification, and resolving issues in collaboration with outsourced partners.
Support management of relationships with agreement-related vendors or outsourced partners, ensuring alignment with agreement terms and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
