This role is for a Senior Business Analyst in Trade Surveillance, driving global strategy and execution within the IT function. Working closely with Compliance, Technology, and business stakeholders, you will develop product roadmaps, conduct business analysis on regulatory-focused technology initiatives, define user requirements for trade surveillance, manage multiple regulatory sub-projects and deadlines, and collaborate with Product Owners and IT delivery teams. The role requires a strong understanding of market risks and controls (e.g., ASIC/Audit/Compliance within Markets divisions), and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across legal, compliance, business, and technology teams. Experience investigating root causes and identifying weaknesses to strengthen the core framework is essential.

Skills

Must have

6 to 9 years of total working experience is expected

Senior Business Analyst with 5+ years of experience on trading surveillance and controls in financial services / capital markets

Experience working with compliance legal business and technology

Understand markets risks and controls (e.g., ASIC/Audit/Compliance within Markets divisions)

Excellent communication skills, organized and able to manage stakeholders in different areas (legal/compliance/business/technology)

Experience investigating root causes and identifying weaknesses providing input to remediate and strengthening core framework
