Job Description

Tesla's Body Repair Program seeks a Service Advisor in Oakleigh, Australia. Responsibilities include liaising between customers and the body shop, managing vehicle arrival and repair processes, coordinating rentals, updating customers, reordering materials, and reviewing repairs. The role requires strong communication, organization, and administrative skills, with experience in automotive collision repair and I-Car Australia certification preferred. The advisor will work closely with technicians and other body shop staff to ensure efficient and high-quality repairs, upholding Tesla's standards for excellence.

Must have:

3+ years automotive collision repair experience
I-Car Australia certification (a plus)
Excellent communication skills
Microsoft Office experience
Valid Driver's License
Willingness to train others

What You’ll Do

Maintain work schedule
Liaise between Customer Claim Specialists and the Body Shop
Prepare vehicle arrival
WARP and CCC administration arrival
Communicate with customers and meet expectation
Coordinate rental car and hand off
Provide update on vehicle’s status
Reorder material and supplies
Review repair and delivery
Perform other related duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

3+ years of experience in the automotive collision repair industry is a plus
Any certification in I-Car Australia is a plus
Valid Driver’s License and a good driving record
Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to follow instructions well
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
Microsoft Office experience preferred
Must be willing to train others
Must be comfortable working in a collision shop environment
Ability to work independently in limited supervision environments
