Job Description

Tesla is seeking a Body Repair Assembly Technician in Perth to join its groundbreaking Body Repair Program. The role involves assisting technicians in structural and cosmetic repairs on Tesla vehicles (Models S, 3, X, & Y), following Tesla's repair procedures. Responsibilities include reassembling vehicle panels to as-new condition, testing reassembly for safety and operability, cleaning and polishing vehicles after repairs, and preparing vehicles for customer collection. This position is ideal for an ambitious technician in the early stages of their panel beating, painting, or mechanical apprenticeship, offering full support, training, and guidance. The successful candidate will possess 1+ years of experience in automotive labouring or a similar role, excellent communication skills, and a strong team ethic. A clean and valid driver's license and basic computer literacy are required. The position is planned to open in Q1 2025.

What You’ll Do
  • Assist Techicians and wider team to complete structural and cosmetic repairs on Tesla Models S, 3, X & Y vehicles in accordance with Tesla specific repair procedures
  • Reassemble vehicle panels in accordance with documented procedures to as-new condition
  • Test and evaulate reassembly for safety and operability
  • Cleaning and polishing vehicles after repairs and preparing vehicles for customer collection
What You’ll Bring
  • 1+ years experience in automotive labouring or similar
  • Excellent attitude and communication skills and enjoys working in a team
  • Reliable, innovative, driven and collaborative
  • Clean and valid driver's licence
  • Willingness to learn
