Job Description

Saviynt, an identity authority platform, seeks an Associate Devops Engineer to join their deployment team. The ideal candidate will have experience in DevOps engineering with an "automate everything" mindset. Responsibilities include performing customer deployments, migrations, and upgrades in the cloud environment, managing cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and monitoring cloud resources for availability and scalability. The role also involves troubleshooting cloud-related infrastructure incidents and issues, building and maintaining highly available systems for SaaS products, and ensuring security best practices for cloud are followed. Strong application support, debugging, and incident support skills are essential.

Must have:

Knowledge of AWS or Azure Infrastructure as a Service
Experience with Automation tools like Terraform and Cloud Formation
Ability to manage and learn new technologies/services/features
Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (IAC)
Strong application support, debugging, and incident support skills
Strong communication skills

Good to have:

Experience with cloud infrastructure and system administration management

The successful candidate should have some experience in Development Operations (DevOps) engineering. An "automate everything" attitude is needed and desired. Strong application support, debugging, and incident support skills are required to be successful in the role. Experience with cloud infrastructure and system administration management experience is expected. The position requires working with teams to identify and repair issues on an as-needed basis. You will need strong communication skills to be effective. A proactive demeanor and friendly disposition are essential for success.

You will be part of the deployment team at Saviynt where we make sure we deploy our application on cloud infrastructure with precision, minimal interruption to customers and on time with quality. Our mission is to make our customers successful while we provide them with the latest Saviynt has to offer.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Perform customer deployments, migrations, and upgrades in the cloud environment.
Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Monitor cloud resources to ensure availability and scalability.
Troubleshoot cloud-related infrastructure incidents and issues.
Building and maintaining highly available systems for SaaS products
Perform operations such as backup and restores.
Assist in ensuring security best practices for cloud are followed and customer data is secured.
Creating and maintaining technical documents for cloud infrastructure and related processes

WHAT YOU BRING

Knowledge of the AWS or Azure Infrastructure as a Service Automation tools like Terraform and Cloud Formation
Knowledge of AWS or Azure compute, data sources, security technologies
Ability to manage and learn new technologies/services/featuresKnowledge of infrastructure-as-code (IAC)
Ability to partner and communicate with various Technology Teams
Ability to work effectively in a strong team-oriented environment
Ability to take on multiple assignments, whether administrative or project related, while maintaining a successful level of completion in all responsible workAbility to prioritize effectively
Ability to develop, present and effectively communicate ideas to a variety of audiences
