Ensures that day-to-day Airfreight operations are executed in according
to strategy and targets. Has responsibility for the optimisation of
Processes and Productivity within the Airfreight Product in the AREA.

Job Responsibilities:

Ø  Primary responsibility of managing P&L and Air Growth strategy in the IBS Area.

Ø  Collaborate with sales team and drive the development of new processes and solutions within IBS region .

Ø  Builds relationships with all airlines operating in the region, leveraging, and supporting all locations for most competitive price and premium space.

Ø  Sales support and guidance; supports sales organization by visiting customers and build confidence in airfreight product.

Ø  Act as a Product expert in front of customers, guide/support Sales to sell the right type of business to the right destinations.

Ø  Responsible for Formulating Area Air strategy implementation throughout IBS

Ø  Pricing and tenders: Define pricing approach in line with global and regional strategy, accountable for the area RFQ pricing, for the spot pricing above the defined threshold as well as for aligning the local pricing with the area pricing desk and supporting the local pricing activities if required.

Ø  Solution design: Support Air Product development of customer specific solutions pertaining to the area network (Expertise role)

Ø  Operational Excellence: identify areas with needs for area Ops Excellence team intervention, centralize key pain points to be managed within the area Ops Excellence team with guidance of Regional and Centre.

Ø  Operations: Accountable for IBS Area operations and therefore the increase in consolidation and de-consolidation, optimization of net achieved costs as well as operations quality in line with the service promise towards customers

Ø  Manage operations resources as per productivity and forecast targets.

Ø  Work with CIM teams to continuously explore opportunities of Process Improvement.
