Finance Manager | Stockholm

About the position

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our Finance Department in Stockholm. This role allows for a hybrid working model with the possibility to work from home but we also would like you to be a part of our community working from the office. As part of our small but exceptional team of three, located in both Stockholm and London, you will play a key role in our finance operations.

We are focused on achieving profitable growth for our Studio and are looking for someone with at least 10 years of experience in accounting and controlling, ideally from project-based companies.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you thrive in a fast-paced environment, you are known for getting the details right and love to work in a structured way to handle day-to-day accounting, monthly closing and Excel-spreadsheets for analysis and follow up.

You should bring a positive, can-do attitude and be comfortable constructively challenging existing processes. You'll need strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with the business in maintaining budgets and achieving profitability. High integrity is essential due to the sensitive nature of the information you'll handle.

What you will get to do

• Statutory accounting and reporting to all relevant authorities for the Swedish legal entities
• Full monthly closing
• Project controlling - Forecasting and control of revenue and cost (profitability monitoring) of projects (bid, follow up and analysis during production, post-production analysis and reporting)
• Cash Management
• Co-work with Finance Manager UK and Head of Finance regarding budget and monthly follow up
• Ensure that budgets are kept and that profitability is reached
• External Audit process - preparations and follow up
• Other finance administration tasks
• Ad-hoc analysis

What you bring

• 10+ years of experience within Finance

• Detail oriented and structured mindset

• Easy-to-approach personality

• Thorough knowledge of accounting and controlling

• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication both in Swedish and English
