Senior Coordinator - Expression of Interest

About the position

We are seeking expression of interest from freelance Senior Coordinators. You will work closely with producers, production assistants, supervisors and artists to ensure all aspects of the project are being tracked and delivered according to established targets and milestones. This position coordinates our cross-functional production teams and requires effective project management and communication skills, as well as a very proactive and positive attitude. Since Goodbye Kansas is working on both VFX and Game related projects we see a big bonus of having experience from both worlds.

What you will get to do

• Assist in implementing and tracking internal task assignments according to schedules.
• Organise dailies, rounds and project meetings
• Organise and setup media for client review sessions
• Ensure ftrack (project management tool), statuses and task assignments are kept up to date
• Coordinate and package shot deliveries including submission documentation
• Ensure teams are clear on daily targets and delivery objectives
• Record all notes & feedback from clients, dailies, rounds and ensure they are distributed to the team accordingly
• Ensure effective communication between artists and project leadership.
• Provide continual updates to the project team
• Coordinate and monitor multiple projects effectively
• Liaise with clients on monitoring
• Mentor the Production Assistants on your project team

What you bring

• Extensive experience from the VFX/Game industry 
• Highly organised with excellent task management skills 
• Demonstrate the ability to problem solve effectively in a fast-paced environment
• High understanding of visual effects terminologies and processes
• Ability to liaise and collaborate with supervisors, artists and producers
• Established software knowledge
• Extensive understanding of visual effects processes including asset development, layout, matte painting, animation, fx, lighting and compositing is considered an asset
• Working experience with ftrack (project software) is considered an asset
• A proactive and warm teamplayer mentality
