Lingokids seeks a Video Production Intern to support content production and distribution. Must-haves include impeccable English, organizational skills, strong communication, and attention to detail. To help us on this mission, we’re looking for an exceptional Video Production Intern to join the Lingokids Studios team.

The Video Production Intern will assist in a range of tasks to support the production and distribution of new content. This is a paid internship role, and we are looking for someone who can commit to 12 months.


The most challenging and exciting responsibilities for this role are:

  • Owning the compilations process to meet deliverable goals.
  • Ideating compilations, verifying with the Youtube team, processing compilations, and modifying thumbnails.
  • Overseeing the production of thumbnails (app, YT, partners) for all video deliveries (compilations, songs, episodes). Liaising with freelance designers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Uploading content to the api and testing for quality assurance.
  • Preparing cue sheets for all song productions.
  • Requesting and proofreading subtitles for songs, podcasts, and episodes.
  • Maintaining the Lingokids Studios Content Catalog and other documentation up to date.

The ideal candidate for this role is someone with a can-do attitude who can work independently.


Requirements:

  • Impeccable English skills for proofreading subtitles and maintaining documentation.
  • Solid organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate asynchronously with a remote team.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Acute attention to detail.
  • Initiative to solve problems.
  • Eagerness to learn.
  • Adaptable to change.


Desired skills:

  • Experience or studies in audiovisual production.
  • Interest in animation and/or kids content creation.

About The Company

Lingo Kids is a brand new after-school language program developed for the Tredyffrin/Easttown school district. Our goal is to improve the basic foundation of foreign language skills, as well as raise multi-cultural understanding among children at the elementary school level.
