Video Editor - SSundee Reacts

Jam Studio is seeking a skilled and passionate video editor to join our production team and help create engaging content for our new YouTube reaction channel SSundee Reacts. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of YouTube, gaming, and internet culture, and be able to use their video editing skills to turn recordings into captivating and high-quality pieces of content. This will involve editing the footage down to a length of 12-15 minutes, adding transitions and sound effects, and using After Effects to create simple animations with stock photos to help viewers visualize the content in the videos.

As a video editor you'll be:

• Working with Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Photoshop.
• Taking 15-30m recordings and chopping them down to the best moments.
• Adding SFX, Music, and animations to make the video more engaging.
• Working with the team to improve viewer retention.

Requirements:

• A Passion for YouTube, gaming, and internet culture.
• Proficiency in Adobe products, specifically Premiere, After Effects & Photoshop.
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.
• Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity.
• Creative mind and strong storytelling skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to take and deliver constructive feedback.
• Comfortable meeting deadlines.
