Our post-production Media team delivers compelling, top-notch content with precision and speed that excites and informs our Trackside audience. We are now seeking a Video Editor to immerse themselves in the full spectrum of post-production, collaborating closely with our media operators and presentation staff to create standout content.

The horse racing industry is a high-energy, fast-paced field, demanding quick decisions and adaptability to keep up with its constant action and high-stakes excitement. Our post-production Media team craft exhilarating visual content which captures the excitement of the track. You'll edit high-quality content on tight deadlines, create content to enhance live racing, and create standout promotional material for TV and digital platforms. We're seeking a dynamic individual with a sharp eye for detail to help us showcase the action and dramatic finishes which define this sport.

Where and how you can work...

We have offices in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Sydney, and Brisbane, to name a few! This is a permanent full time role based on-site in our Auckland office.

The horse racing industry is high-energy and fast paced, particular during our Spring and Summer racing season. Be ready to embrace flexibility with team rosters, including some public holidays and weekends to keep up with the action-packed schedule!

Your day-to-day...

• Programme Editing: Edit content to high standards, meet deadlines, and ensure shows, promotions, and TVCs air on time and effectively convey their message.
• Support Live Channels: Create supplementary content for live racing, adhere to production scripts in a fast-paced setting, and potentially edit on location for feature races.
• Production of Promotional Material: Produce and deliver TV commercials and promotional material on time, meeting production briefs and technical specs for both broadcast and digital platforms.
• Media Management: Store and label media correctly, ensuring it is accessible and follows all media, edit, and MCR protocols.
• Wider Team Support: Provide post-production services to the broader Entain business as needed.
• Customer Focus: Develop and implement strategies to enhance the customer experience, focusing on continual improvement and innovation.

You're a match if you ideally have...

• 2+ years of professional editing in a broadcast or similar high-energy environment.
• Diploma in Editing/Digital Media or a related field.
• Expertise in nonlinear editing systems like Adobe Premiere.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and After Effects.
• Deep understanding of broadcasting operations and workflows.
• Keen eye for detail and ability to thrive under tight deadlines.
• Adept at working both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
• Racing knowledge and sports production experience are advantageous.
