UX Designer (inc. Product, UI, Visual)

The India Experience Creative Studio is one of Merkle’s Global Experience Design Studios based in Bangalore. The Design Crew works on strategic & innovative, crafted experiences for products and services delivering high quality branded creative solutions that are user centric and deeply human. As the UX/ UI Design Lead, you will play a T-Shaped role across UX / UI and partner with crossfunctional team members. You will work closely with the Associate Creative Director - UX and the Creative Director to create impactful experience design concepts, interfaces and interactions for our global clients and design innovative product accelerators that add value to our client partners. You will lead experience design project sprints spanning from conception to execution and launch for services and products (UX/ UI). The role is based out of Bangalore and will require close collaboration with Global Teams. We are looking for someone who has an expertise in UX, Interaction Design and agile to design for any device and platform. You will have strong interaction and prototyping skills, great team spirit and will act as a strong design lead to guide your junior team members. Formal design education & portfolio is mandatory along with 10 to 13 years of experience.

Job Description:

• Strong user-centric mindset to create impactful and effective user experience concepts. Understanding Trends in Design & Technology.
• Strong interaction design skills with the ability to create robust prototypes and interactive storytelling narratives.
• Deep understanding and practical experience with UX design process and methodologies – user research, user journey mapping, task-flows, information architecture, wire-framing and prototyping.
• Prior experience with product and service design.
• Great attitude and excellent communication skills (comprehension, verbal and written) to effectively present concepts, designs, and experience visions + ability to persuade.
• Prior experience working with Global brands and teams is an added advantage.
