Job Description

The Technical Writer will liaise with developers and architects to identify technical requirements and create technical documentation in a specific format. They will provide documentation support to the development team and manage documentation activities (estimating, prioritizing, planning, and executing). The role involves working on industrial networking solutions for a company at the forefront of global connectivity and IIoT technologies. Responsibilities include collaborating with internal teams to understand technical needs, writing and maintaining technical documentation, and providing support to the development team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical writing skills and experience working with software development teams.

Must have:

3+ years experience as Technical Writer
Programming knowledge (XSLT preferred)
Simplified Technical English
GIT or other code versioning knowledge

Good to have:

Technical background
German language
Basic networking knowledge
DITA knowledge
Translation memory tools
Knowledge of the Agile methodology

Responsibilities

Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and architects) to identify technical requirements

Write the technical documentation in specific format

Provide documentation support to the development team

Estimate, prioritize, plan and execute the documentation activities

Skills

Must have

3 Years of experience as Technical Writer

Programming knowledge (XSLT preferred)

Simplified Technical English

GIT or other code versioning knowledge.

Nice to have

Technical background (preferably, a graduate of a technical form of higher education)

German language

Basic networking knowledge

DITA knowledge

Translation memory tools

Knowledge of the Agile methodology
