As Technical Manager HPC Data Analytics you have a direct impact on the cost and speed of New Product Introductions by NXP Research & Development (R&D), because you’re leading the team that provides the business with data, models, and insights that enable correct R&D business decisions.

Together with your team consisting of data (platform) engineers, ML Ops engineers, and data scientists, you delight R&D business with a topnotch self-service fully automated cloud-based data platform that provides the models and insights for making the correct business decisions.

This is what you will do as product owner at NXP

You drive the future of R&D data analytics platform and ML products on top, like Crystal Ball and HPC Waste Prophet.  You do this by defining the vision, managing the product roadmap and backlog, setting priorities, and working together with stakeholders. Also, you will be managing the DevOps team that owns these products.

  • You manage the Hardware Design Analytics product backlog and guide the team by giving direction and setting the priorities
  • You work closely together with R&D business stakeholders and translate their needs into Features and User stories for your team
  • You are the people manager of the Hardware Design Analytics team members, taking care of their development and performance reviews

Typically you…

You can describe yourself as follows:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience in Data Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Five years of experience with leading teams, preferably as a Product Owner, in a IT infrastructure organization as part of a technical enterprise
  • Work experience with High Performance Compute (HPC) systems, preferably in semiconductor industry, with an understanding of HPC optimization
  • Passionate about technology, innovation, cloud, DevOps, automation, CICD, Big Data, ML Ops, and technically creative
  • Solution-oriented, hands-on, customer-centric and valuing the importance of working together with others in order to be successful as an organization

What can you expect

Contract: This is a full-time position with a permanent contract. However, we are open to discuss a part-time opportunity (between 32 and 38 hours) as well.
