Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst with 5+ years of experience in mobile and TV application development. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, QA, leadership) to ensure timely delivery of high-quality applications across Android, iOS, Android TV, and Apple TV. Responsibilities include requirement gathering and analysis, creating documentation (user stories, process flows, wireframes), requirement tracking and management, validation and QA, collaboration and communication, and release support. The role demands exceptional analytical skills, strong technical acumen, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, often requiring extended hours to meet deadlines.

Must have:

5+ years exp. as Technical Business Analyst
Mobile (Android/iOS) & TV app exp.
Agile methodologies & tools (Jira, Confluence)
Requirement gathering & analysis
Excellent communication skills

Good to have:

Experience with prototyping tools (Figma, Balsamiq)
Understanding of SDLC

We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst with experience in mobile and TV application domain to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and leadership teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality applications across Android, iOS-based devices including mobile, TV and other living room devices. This role requires someone with exceptional analytical skills, strong technical acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should be comfortable stretching their working hours to meet critical release timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Requirement Gathering & Analysis

· Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into detailed technical requirements.

· Create functional and non-functional requirement documents, user stories, process flows, and wireframes.

· Identify and address potential roadblocks or technical challenges during requirement gathering.

2. Requirement Tracking & Management

· Maintain a requirements traceability matrix to ensure alignment with project goals.

· Track requirement changes and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.

3. Validation & Quality Assurance

· Work closely with QA teams to validate that implementations meet requirements.

· Conduct user acceptance testing and provide feedback to development teams.

4. Collaboration & Communication

· Act as the primary point of contact between technical teams, QA, and the project manager.

· Organize and facilitate meetings to discuss progress, issues, and updates.

5. Release Support

· Support development and QA teams during critical release timelines by ensuring clarity on requirements and assisting in issue resolution.

· Document lessons learned to improve future processes.

Qualifications & Skills

Educational Background:

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Business Administration, or a related field

Experience:

· 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role in software development projects.

· Strong exposure to mobile (Android/iOS) and TV (Android TV/Apple TV) application development projects.

Technical Skills:

· Familiarity with mobile and TV app development tools, APIs, and frameworks.

· Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).

· Experience with prototyping tools such as Figma, Balsamiq, Proto.io or similar.

· Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Soft Skills:

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.

Additional Requirements:

· Flexibility to stretch working hours as needed to meet release timelines.

· Strong documentation skills with attention to detail.
