As a Sr. Information Security Analyst, you will play a key role in the delivery of complex investigation and will be part of discovering new technologies within the FinTech industry.

We are now looking for a Sr. Information Security Analyst to strengthen the GSOC team in Mumbai. You will be responsible for driving the execution to implement and troubleshoot various information systems security software, following policies and procedures and conduct investigations for the alerts triggered.

With this position we offer

The main objective for the Cyber security - GSOC team is to supervise, detect, respond to and mitigate cyber security threats in real-time. You will be able to undergo cybersecurity programs, workshops, simulations and improve your knowledge.

Your role and responsibilities:

Designs, develops, modifies, adapts and implements short- and long-term solutions to information technology (IT) needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems and applications infrastructure. Reviews system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs and implements software solutions. Besides working closely with your colleagues in Mumbai, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.

Furthermore, you will: 

  • Under general supervision, implements and solves problems various information systems security software, following policies and procedures.
  • With limited mentorship, tests and validates solutions to remediate exploitable conditions on devices such as Web servers, mail servers, routers, firewalls and intrusion detection systems following established policies and procedures.
  • Within controlled environment, evaluates, codes and implements software fixes (patches) to address system vulnerabilities such as malicious code (e.g. viruses), system exploitation using SQL injection, cross-site scripting, buffer overflows, parameter tampering, hidden field manipulation, cookie poisoning, and Web services manipulation.
  • With limited oversight, conducts security assessments of systems, networks and applications using penetration tests and ethical hacking tools and risk assessment/mediation methodologies to evaluate vulnerabilities.  Prepares status reports on security matters to develop security risk analysis scenarios and response procedures.
  • Has technical knowledge of security issues, techniques and implications across all existing computer platforms.
  • Develops security solutions for routine to moderately assignments.

We expect you to have

  • Education Required:  Degree qualified in Computers Science, Information Systems or other related subject area, or equivalent work experience.    
  • Experience Required:  At least 4+ years of industry experience.
  • Supervising and analyzing network traffic, detect threats and incidents in real-time.
  • Investigating and responding to security incidents without breaching the SLA’s.
  • Problem-Solving ability and time management.
  • Good Communication skills.

  • Special Qualifications:   Is working towards any of the following Certifications and/or Professionalization status: CCIE (certified CISCO Internet Engineer), MCSE certification; GIAC Certified Windows Security Administrator (GCWN); GSEC, GCFW, GCIA, GCIH, GISO, GSNA, GCFA, GSLC; CISA, CISSP certifications; CIPP (Certified Information Privacy Professional).
