Summary

Senior UX Designer needed for a full-scale technology upgrade project at a leading investment management firm in Southern California managing close to $2 trillion in assets. Responsibilities include collaborating with product management and engineering, defining and implementing innovative solutions, executing visual design stages from concept to hand-off (process flows, sketches, wireframes, etc.), and conceptualizing user-friendly designs for complex applications. The role requires strong UI/UX design skills, experience with mobile and responsive web design, and the ability to present ideas effectively. This position will be based in the client's offices near Los Angeles.

Project description

Our Customer is one of the world's largest investment management companies. Based in Southern California, our client manages close to $2 trillion in assets and is looking for a new partner to participate in a full scale upgrade of their technology. We are looking for talented and ambitious people to work on the first engagement in the client's offices near Los Angeles, California.

This position is to provide design for Investment Group Technology applications.

Responsibilities

Collaborating with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience.

Executing all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering (process flows, sketches, scenarios, wireframes, navigation models, visual design).

Conceptualizing original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks.

Skills

Must have

Obsessed with good user-centered design practices and are detail-oriented.

Mobile and responsive web UI design skill is essential.

Must have a strong UI/UX design portfolio.

Solid experience in creating process flows, sketches, scenarios, wireframes, navigation models and visual design.

Must be able to present ideas creatively and effectively.

Must be up to date with latest UI trends, technologies and design practices.
