Your tasks and responsibilities
We are looking for a flexible, experienced senior specialized consultant with a very good knowledge of the banking and finance industry. The ideal candidate has excellent knowledge in risk management (Market Risk, Liquidity Risk, Credit Risk, ALM, Basel III/IV CRRII/CRRIII, rating systems, risk and stress scenario modelling, PD, LGD, etc.) and very good knowledge in Regulatory Reporting related to risk management in the banking sector.
As a senior functional specialized consultant in risk within the banking sector with strong expertise in the risk management domain, you will take responsibility for all the aspects of our customer projects during the implementation and interfacing phases of our OneSumX solution. You will be responsible for the analysis of the customer’s requirements, the translation into functional specifications, the functional configuration of the system, as well as the support during the testing phases. You will be the expert for our OneSumX risk management solution, and you will advise and guide our clients during the implementation projects.
With your expertise you will drive the risk implementation projects and guide our clients with your specialized knowledge about our solution and your market expertise.
Analyze regulators and customers specific requirements to adapt and configure OneSumX solution to match these requirements, document requirements according to Wolters Kluwer’s and clients’ standards
Handle functional designs; tests and modify new and existing specific Financial Risk, Finance and Regulatory Reporting solutions for customers
Prepare and support/conduct client’s trainings
Report to Project Manager on regular basis, communicate issues related to the projects he/she is participating
As a lead consultant you will implement customer projects in DACH region, in particular in Germany; deliver functional knowledge and business domain expertise for the integration of Wolters Kluwer’s OneSumX solutions into client’s information system, in the area of Financial Risk, Finance and Regulatory reporting. This will include regular travel to client locations.
Work in international project teams within Wolters Kluwer’s professional Services organization
You will contribute to pre-sales and marketing activities such as product demonstration, RFI, RFP on request of the Professional Services director for Continental Europe as well as address business and regulatory issues raised during meetings
Qualifications and Skillset
Education:
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Economics/Financial Science/Banking/Mathematics/Physics or similar.
CRM and/or CFA certification is an asset
Essential:
At least 6+ year experience and excellent knowledge in risk management (Market Risk, Liquidity Risk, Credit risk, ALM, Basel III/IV, CRRII/CRRIII, rating systems, risk and stress scenario modelling, PD, LGD, etc.) preferably gained from working within a banking organization, consulting companies, or from providing similar solutions to financial services institutions.
Experience in regulatory reporting, banking and financial instruments including regulatory calculators and stress testing is a strong asset.
Very good understanding of Economic Capital regulations and methodologies, IFRS accounting principles, Credit Risk Portfolio, Micro- and Marco Hedging, risk regulations, FTP, CRRII/CRRIII, customer profitability is a strong asset
Knowledge of options pricing models, financial instruments pricing, etc. is an asset
Proven experience in requirements capturing and documenting, perfect skills & abilities to prepare clear and well-structured documents
Experience to work as Business analyst/System Analyst at systems’ implementation projects is a strong asset
Experience in delivering expert consultancy, training, and presentations to external parties is a strong asset
Affinity with or interest in software (implementation) projects; database, SQL knowledge and Java knowledge is a strong asset
Knowledge of Business Intelligence Reporting tools (Business Objects, Microsoft PowerPivot, Microsoft Reporting Services, etc.) is a strong asset
Fluency in German and English is mandatory (at least level B2).
Ability and willingness to travel to work on customer premises if required and work on international projects also abroad if necessary.

Willingness to take “product owner” responsibility for OneSumX implementation within mixed project teams
