Job Description

As a Senior Product Manager, Cybersecurity at Google, you'll be responsible for leading a team of product managers in defining, identifying, collecting, and tracking key product metrics. You'll collaborate with engineering, marketing, legal, UX, and other teams to develop cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions. Your role includes creating product requirements, co-leading product design and development, and owning product roadmaps. You'll also need to validate market size and opportunity, drive the development of a product vision, and harmonize processes for defining and tracking product metrics. This role is based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
8 years of experience in product management or related technical role
3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch
3 years of people management experience with direct reports, and in technical leadership

Good to have:

Master's degree or PhD
Experience with platform development, enterprise software, cybersecurity, or AI product development
Solid product management experience with a track record of creating innovative and winning Internet or software solutions
Experience with people management and organizational management skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to advocate for Google's products internally and externally

Minimum qualifications:

Responsibilities

Lead a team of product managers through defining, identifying, collecting, and tracking appropriate product or business metrics.
Lead collaboration with engineering, marketing, legal, UX, and other teams on cutting edge technologies.
Create product requirements, co-lead product design and development and own product roadmaps. Manage validation of market size and opportunity (e.g., user-based, strategic opportunity, business).
Drive development and secure buy-in for a product vision that identifies, defines, and supports the overall product narrative and direction.
Lead and harmonize processes to define, identify, collect, and track appropriate product or business metrics, both quantitative and qualitative for new or existing products or business ventures.
