As a Senior Product Manager, Cybersecurity at Google, you'll be responsible for leading a team of product managers in defining, identifying, collecting, and tracking key product metrics. You'll collaborate with engineering, marketing, legal, UX, and other teams to develop cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions. Your role includes creating product requirements, co-leading product design and development, and owning product roadmaps. You'll also need to validate market size and opportunity, drive the development of a product vision, and harmonize processes for defining and tracking product metrics. This role is based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch
  • 3 years of people management experience with direct reports, and in technical leadership
Good to have:
  • Master's degree or PhD
  • Experience with platform development, enterprise software, cybersecurity, or AI product development
  • Solid product management experience with a track record of creating innovative and winning Internet or software solutions
  • Experience with people management and organizational management skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to advocate for Google's products internally and externally

Minimum qualifications:

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of product managers through defining, identifying, collecting, and tracking appropriate product or business metrics.
  • Lead collaboration with engineering, marketing, legal, UX, and other teams on cutting edge technologies.
  • Create product requirements, co-lead product design and development and own product roadmaps. Manage validation of market size and opportunity (e.g., user-based, strategic opportunity, business).
  • Drive development and secure buy-in for a product vision that identifies, defines, and supports the overall product narrative and direction.
  • Lead and harmonize processes to define, identify, collect, and track appropriate product or business metrics, both quantitative and qualitative for new or existing products or business ventures.
