Manager/Senior Manager IC-Design team at Silabs, Hyderabad.

Meet the Team

We are involved in developing RTL design for wireless IoT Products. In the process, you will get a chance to work on the full life cycle of design, development, verification, validation and productization.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the design execution using technical expertise, mentoring team of engineers & being responsible for overall execution Quality & schedule. Define and implement RTL design methodologies and best practices. Lead team, meet schedule commitments and provide strong support to various customers.
  • Capable of building and leading  Digital design development team for Ultra-low power Wireless IoT and SoC Designs.
  • Manage cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Oversee the integration of various IP blocks and ensure seamless functionality.
  • Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align SoC development with overall company goals.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.

Skills You Will Need

  • Strong expertise in RTL design with Verilog and System Verilog.
  • Proficient in low power design methodologies (static/dynamic clock gating, power gating, dynamic voltage and frequency scaling).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with multiple clock domains and asynchronous interfaces.
  • Knowledge of system architecture, CPU & IP integration, and power and clock management designs.
  • Familiarity with high-speed interfaces like USB, PCIe, Ethernet, Mobile DDR, Quad/Octa-SPI.
  • Understanding of peripheral interfaces like SDIO, UART, I2S, I2C, PWM, CAN, etc.
  • Knowledge of processors like RISC-V and ARM processors.
  • Experience with wireless protocols like WiFi, BT, BLE, 15.4.
  • Proficient in design signoff flows including Lint, CDC, Formal Verification, Synthesis, Constraints, and STA Timing Closure.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional dependencies and report on design results through design reviews and detailed documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in Semiconductor Domain
  • 5+ years of experience in Team management towards Digital Design development/verification
  • Experience in RTL design for Wireless/SoC Designs.
  • Hands-on experience in development and delivering of Digital Design with sign-off checks like CDC, LEC, etc.
  • BE/B.Tech in Electronics Engineering or MS/M.Tech in Electronics

The following qualifications will be considered a plus:

  • Database management like Methodics/Perforce
  • Verification concepts like UVM.
  • Familiarity with FPGA designs and testing
  • Automation tools like Perl, Python, etc..
