Job Description

Senior Java Developer needed for a 12+ month contract (potential for full-time conversion) with Patterned Learning AI. This hybrid role allows for remote work across the U.S. or from their NYC HQ (3-4 days/week in Boston). Responsibilities include designing and developing backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot in an AWS environment, working with SQL and databases (schema design & query optimization), producing clean, maintainable code (JUnit/TestNG experience needed), contributing to new feature development on their SaaS platform, and utilizing various AWS services and data technologies. 8+ years of experience in Java/Spring Boot/AWS is required.

Must have:

8+ years Java, Spring Boot, AWS experience
SQL and database expertise (schema design, query optimization)
Experience with JUnit or TestNG
Contribute to SaaS platform development

This is a remote position.

Senior Java Developer

On-site role in Boston, MA (3 or 4 days per week)

U.S. Citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time.

12+ Month Contract with Possible Extension (Client will convert full time, if desired)

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States full-time. We are not able to sponsor applicants for work visas at this time.

Flexible location: work where you want to, either remotely across the U.S. or from our HQ in NYC

8+ years of experience designing and developing backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot in an AWS environment.

Contribute to design and development of new features on our multi-tenant cloud hosted SaaS platform.

Work with a wide variety of AWS services and data technologies.
