Job Description

Develop and maintain Angular/NodeJS applications for a leading software system in the Oil & Gas industry. The role involves close collaboration with a Houston-based customer team, following Agile methodologies. Responsibilities include developing Angular/NodeJS applications and components, designing and implementing CSS, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsive design, integrating BPM with web applications, and working with web designers and programmers. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in web application development using Angular/NodeJS, strong understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, experience with jQuery, Git, and Agile environments. The project focuses on geological data research, visualization, and interpretation.

Must have:

7+ years experience as developer
Angular, NodeJS, HTML, JavaScript, CSS
Commercial/large scale web app development (Angular/NodeJS)
jQuery concepts
Responsive web application experience
Git experience
Agile environment experience

Good to have:

AWS experience
Jenkins experience
GitLab experience
Chinese communication
Oil & Gas domain experience

Project description

Developed product is the leading software system in Energy domain covering all aspects of Oil&Gas production from geological exploration to optimization of ongoing production. Our technology solution helps geologists and geophysicists to research, visualize and interpret large volumes of geological data.
Work supposes close cooperation with Customer team located in Houston and following Agile principles.

Responsibilities

Develops Angular/NodeJS applications and components using standard practices.

Working closely with web designers and programmers to produce applications.

Designs and implements CSS.

Cross browser compatibility and responsive design implementation.

Integrates BPM with web application.

Skills

Must have

7+ years of experience as developer.

Completion of an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or MIS.

Solid understanding of Angular, NodeJS, HTML, JavaScript and CSS.

Ability to hand write and edit HTML, JSON, Angular, JavaScript and CSS.

Proven experience of commercial/large scale web application development using Angular/NodeJS Framework.

Solid understanding and experience in Jquery concepts.

Proven experience of web application responsive.

Proven experience in source code management like Git.

Experience in working with Agile environment.

Ready for business trip

Nice to have

Experience with AWS

Experience with Jenkins

Experience with GitLab

Flexible to travel

Chinese communication is preferred

Experience working as oil and gas domain is preferred
