The Senior Events Manager for Bethesda Softworks will be responsible for strategic planning, producing and execution of events related to the organization’s participation in tradeshows, exhibitions, and both physical and digital special events.
Responsibilities
Oversee the planning and strategic execution of all events throughout the year, including physical and digital event executions
Coordinate all operations, including planning equipment needs, shipping, show setup and teardown
Prepare and monitor budgets, reports, and presentations
Source and negotiate vendors and suppliers
Work closely with business unit leaders, marketing team and development studios to ensure effective event execution
Ensure that event information is developed and distributed to show personnel
Determine event KPIs, analyze event success and prepare evaluative reports of events for management
Qualifications
5 years of experience in strategic results driven event planning and production
3 year of experience directly managing multiple business units as well as external vendors
3 year of experience working trade shows and other external large-scale events
Experience coordinating exhibits, graphics, presentations, receptions, and other event components
Experience with building and managing the overall budget for planned events
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suites including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Ability to work effectively in a highly confidential, fast paced environment, independently, and as part of a team
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
Occasional overnight travel, nights, and weekends required
Certified Meeting Planner(CMP), Certified Trade Show Marketer (CTSM) preferred
Salary Range
Sr. Events Manager - The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $80,000 - $185,000 per year.

Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
