About the Team

Our DevOps team is a highly skilled and diverse group of professionals located in Croatia and India. Comprising six members, we work collaboratively to ensure the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our Cloudsense products, services hosted in Cloud infrastructure. This role will suit a highly motivated self-starter who is comfortable working in teams that may be spread across a number of different locations. In addition, you will:

Competencies: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Candidates must have minimum 8 years' experience in commercial software development and/or operations and be educated to degree level in a relevant technical subject.

Must-have:

• Should have 5+ years of extensive experience in working in various AWS services like EC2, RDS, EKS, MSK, S3, VPC, KMS, EMR, Lambda, ECR etc.
• Should have experience in infrastructure provisioning using either Terraform or Cloudformation.
• Should have experience in Shell scripting and ansible for automation of Devops activities
• Basic experience in JavaScript or Python scripting is an added advantage.
• Experience using CI/CD tools to automate build and deployment processes
• Should have extensive experience in Kubernetes administration
• Should have experience in helm charts, scripting deployment manifests for applications hosted in Kubernetes
• Should have experience in setting up Observability tools for infrastructure and application monitoring
• Should have experience in development of CI/CD pipelines in one of Devops tools like Jenkins, Gitlab, GitHub actions, Circle CI, etc.
• Should have experience in configuring Devops tools responsible for code security scanning and infrastructure scanning for vulnerabilities
• Experience working in an agile, fast-paced, DevOps environment
• Experience writing technical and/or end-user documentation
• Knowledge of best practices for IT operations in an always-up, always-available environment
• Should have experience in Databases, Kafka / RabbitMQ / Messaging systems, http based applications
• Should have mindset of automation first for all ad-hoc manual activities
• Should have good experience in ArgoCD or Flux CD

Essential Skills:

• 8+ years working in a technical operations, Devops and automation based role.
• Should have excellent troubleshooting skills both at application and infrastructure level.
• Ability to simplify and articulate complex technical problems for colleagues and customers
• Excellent organizational skills as well as the ability to manage and prioritize tasks and time efficiently
• Experience working across multiple work streams and systems
• Proven ability to recognise and articulate potential impediments to success, i.e. issues & risks
• Should have good programming and analytical skills.

Desirable Skills:

• AWS SysOps certified associate
• Experience in multiple Cloud platform
• Experience working with Salesforce and CloudSense products
• Capacity planning experience
• Process definition and implementation experience
• Experience in implementing infrastructure for SaaS based products is an advantage.
