Senior Consultant in Tax Accounting

Job Description & Summary

You will work as a part of our Tax Reporting and Strategy team, from the office in Belgrade, Serbia. You’ll focus on bookkeeping and monthly reporting, drafting and filing of local statutory financial statements and tax returns.

Your roles and responsibilities will include:

•  Accounting and tax accounting transactions for local companies, representatives offices/branches of foreign legal entities;
• Preparation and submission of tax (VAT, WHT, CIT other taxes), Statutory financial statements, statistical and other reports, providing support in statutory audit;
• Communication (both correspondence and personal) with clients and team on a daily basis;
• Process enhancements and routine tasks automation, participation in the development of the digital products for the Client
• Monitoring the work of younger colleagues and providing regular feedback

Requirements:

• University degree in Economics, Accounting or Finance or related field
• At least 4-5 years of working experience within an accounting firm/accounting department (in bookkeeping,  VAT calculation, statutory financial statements and corporate income tax reporting)
• Knowledge of International Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards is mandatory
• Willing to work as part of a team
• Ability to build and sustain relationships with colleagues and clients
• Advanced knowledge both verbal and written English language
• MS Office skills
• Experience with Microsoft NAV is an advantage
