Senior Business Analyst (#2289)

Our client is the leading retail chain in Uzbekistan, with about a million regular customers and more than 125 stores in 11 regions. The company operates supermarkets, neighborhood stores, convenience stores, a wholesale store, and an online supermarket. The client also runs two warehouses (dry and temperature-controlled) and a fruits/vegetables hub.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team to ensure business requirements are understood and met.
• Document and analyze business requirements, data sources, and data flows for the project.
• Develop detailed functional requirements, use cases, user stories, and process flow diagrams.
• Collaborate with product owners to prioritize requirements based on business impact and feasibility.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings with stakeholders to gather information and insights.
• Evaluate existing business processes and identify areas for improvement, recommending effective solutions.
• Assist in the design, testing, and implementation of new business processes and systems.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all solution components.
• Ensure alignment between various business units and IT to achieve project goals.
• Provide expertise on industry best practices and ensure that the project adheres to quality and regulatory standards.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively to all stakeholders.
• Maintain a focus on business objectives while managing project scope and timelines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Senior Business Analyst or a similar role.
• Extensive experience in documenting business and functional requirements.
• Strong background in data analysis, process design, and system implementations.
• Proficiency with BI tools and data analysis platforms, such as Power BI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, and operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:

• Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA).
• Experience with cloud platforms and data warehousing solutions like Databricks or Azure Synapse.
• Previous experience in the retail sector is advantageous.
• Knowledge of advanced data analytics and AI/ML concepts.
