Job Description

This role involves implementing Industry 4.0 initiatives in various sectors like manufacturing, infrastructure, utilities, retail, and healthcare. You will be responsible for digitizing shop floor operations, conducting technology due diligence, designing solutions, creating technology roadmaps, managing vendors and internal teams, overseeing implementation, and leading RFP responses. Prior experience in a client-facing role is mandatory, and prior experience in technology consulting is a plus. This position requires hands-on experience with process automation in the industrial sector, a strong understanding of emerging technologies like MES, IIoT, and manufacturing metrics, and experience in factory connect projects from concept to commissioning. You will be expected to conduct factory visits, work with delivery teams, and be familiar with IIoT/IoT, Cognitive computing, Machine Intelligence, Cloud computing, Data Science, and technology due diligence methodologies.

Must have:

Hands on experience in Process automation in Industrial sector
Good understanding of emerging tech like MES, IIoT, Manufacturing metrices
Minimum 02 Factory connect project from concept to commissioning
Willingness to do factory visits and work with delivery teams
Exposure to any leading platform
Familiar with IIoT/IoT, Cognitive computing, Machine Intelligence and Cloud computing (Private and Public) and Data Science
Familiar with technology due diligence, gap analysis, benchmarking and solutioning methodologies
Ability to participate in large development programs, working with equipment and systems builders and providing back end solutions meeting performance, cost, timeline, and capability requirements
Comfortable working in both Engineering and IT space, ability to help facilitate collaboration across organizational barriers
Adept at working in environments with significant ambiguity and an ability to explore and drive to clear requirements
Able to interact effectively with customers and staff

Job Description & Summary

Role: Looking for dynamic professionals with hands on experience of implementing Industry 4.0
initiatives
in discrete and process manufacturing, infrastructure, utilities and resources, retail and healthcare
sectors. Candidate must have 5+ years of relevant experience of digitizing shop floor operations,
technology due diligence, designing solutions, preparing technology roadmap, managing vendors and
internal teams, managing implementation and leading RFP response. Prior experience in a client facing
role is a must. Prior experience in technology consulting will be an added advantage.
Educational Qualification: BE / BTech. Master’s degree preferred
Years of experience: 7 to 10 years
Location: Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai
