Job Description

As a Reverse Engineer at Max Secure Software, you'll collaborate with the development team on threat analysis, conduct malware research using C++, Python, Java, and JavaScript, and develop malware signatures for Windows/Mac and Android malware file types. The role involves working on the next generation of Antivirus Offering, currently serving millions of customers. Threat intelligence training is provided. You will solve real customer problems and see the direct impact of your contributions in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Must have:

B.E/B.Tech/M.Sc. in CS/IT
0-4 years experience in Security domain
C/C++/Python knowledge
Good analytical capability

Good to have:

Awareness of trending malware families
Knowledge of static and dynamic malware analysis
Understanding of file structures (PE, PDF, OLE, etc.)

About the Role:

Based in Wanawadi, Pune, and reporting to the head of our rapidly growing Anti-Virus team, you will help design and build the next generation of Antivirus Offering, which currently serves millions of customers. We look for developers who have a passion for excellence and give our teams freedom to innovate with groundbreaking technologies.

Day to Day:

Collaborate with development team on threat analysis

Conduct malware research using C++, Python, Java, JavaScript

Develop malware signatures for windows/Mac and Android malware file types

Threat intelligence training will be provided to Fresh hires

What you bring to the table:

Must have B.E/B. Tech/M.Sc. in C.S/IT

0-4 years of experience in Security domain

C/C++/Python knowledge required

Good analytical capability

It would be great if you also had:

Aware of trending malware family campaign and analysis for threat write ups for that follow up family

Knowledge of static and dynamic malware analysis (aware of file structure like, PE, PDF, OLE, windows shortcut files etc)
