Overview
The Sr Retail Experience Specialist is primarily responsible for the design and execution of consumer-driven promotion and merchandising strategies within the retail channel including custom corporate account initiatives, special Hoosier Lottery retail initiatives and innovative retail strategies for all channels. This position also assists the Sales Department in the development of retailer communications.
Generating over $1.5 billion in sales annually, IGT-Indiana is responsible for marketing, product development, sales, technology and operations functions on behalf of the Hoosier Lottery. Our shared mission is to maximize net income to the State of Indiana in a socially responsible manner.
Responsibilities
• Manages project strategy, vendors and timelines associated with retail promotion and merchandising initiatives for all retail accounts, including corporate initiatives.
• Works with Corporate Account Director and Retail & Advertising Manager to ensure corporate loyalty programs and product initiatives are aligned with the marketing calendar.
• Manages budget lines associated to all retail merchandising and monthly campaign POS.
• Works collaboratively with Analysts to track effectiveness and analyze merchandising and other special retail initiatives.
• Establishes and manages retail merchandising calendar to support business objectives.
• Works with internal and external resources to optimize temporary and permanent merchandising options to maximize sales impact and reduce costs.
• Manage, track and analyze the use of retail digital communications which includes coordination with internal and external staff.
• Manages the ESMM strategy to ensure the slides are aligned with the product and marketing calendars, and continuously researches new ways to improve the ESMM.
• Manage, track and analyze the use of marketing collateral creation and distribution at regional and retailer level.
• Works closely with Sales department to ensure retailer communications embrace the needs of the retailer while also reflecting the communication priorities of Hoosier Lottery.
• Collaborates with Sales department to ensure the content within the monthly Retailer Playbook and on hoosierlottery.com retail webpage is reflective of current information regarding products, campaigns, players and other information relevant to the retail customer.
• Manages the 360 strategies and execution of winner awareness.
• Maintains understanding of Hoosier Lottery retailer business performance and initiatives to identify appropriate consumer strategies to drive incremental business.
• Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of the Hoosier Lottery player in all retail environments and translates that understanding to recommendations associated to existing or new retail initiatives.
• Attends monthly regional sales meetings to gather feedback and present new initiatives.
• Seeks out new vendors associated with special or improved retail opportunities.
• Performs other required tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
o BS or BA, or equivalent, with a concentration in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or Advertising preferred.
o Minimum 3-7 years of experience in Brand and/or Advertising
o Business-to-Consumer marketing experience within a fast-paced retail environment and/or CPG organization is preferred.
o Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a result driven, team-oriented environment.
o Experience managing multi-channel marketing programs with budgets exceeding $1 million each.
o Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
o Task oriented and ability to track multiple elements in multiple stages of development.
o Ability to function independently which includes prioritizing and organizing work.
o Strong sense of urgency and commitment to setting and individually meeting deadlines.
o Ability to analyze problems and make appropriate decisions.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $38,281 - $156,700. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
