The QA Analyst III is Experienced Test Engineer within the Integration team who has good written and verbal communication skills; and is able to interface efficiently with all support groups, other QA groups, and application teams. The incumbent should be familiar w/principal testing methodologies, write/execute automation scripts, maintain and troubleshoot testing environments, execute tests, verify test results. The incumbent must exhibit quick learning abilities for a large Integrated test environment including understanding business concepts from end-to-end perspective.
Accountabilities
- Communicate with stakeholders spanning both internal and external teams
- Develop test scenarios, steps in test framework like Robot framework/cucumber test files.
- Assist QA Manager and QA Lead Analyst in identifying test scope, identifying project risks, and implementing process changes and efficiencies.
- Maintain and develop test environment on-prem and cloud.
- Oversee and enhance daily test regression and automation.
- Ensure team members are complying with SDLC processes.
- Develop and execute test scenarios and execute responsibilities with little oversight.
- Create and maintain test artifacts and facilitate artifact reviews. Interface and communicate with internal teams and external support groups.
- Help in implementing new technology/processes including new tools and test frameworks.
- Develop domain-level expertise both on the application under test and testing practices.
- Work with teams across the globe and work as extension or independent initiatives.
- Collaborate with Integration peers and seniors within the team.
- Flexible to adapt to business needs including managing multiple tasks.
Qualifications
- Must be experienced with SQL and Linux/UNIX
- Knowledge in OOP concepts and familiar with Python/Java
- Experience with messaging protocol(s). Experience in the Financial Industry is a plus.
- Experience with Test Automation as well as manual testing.
- Able to solve complex environment troubleshooting problems with logical thinking
- Good problem determination skills that help lead to problem resolution.
- Education: A bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or other related discipline is required; or equivalent combination of education and relevant proven work experience that is required for the specific job level.
- Experience: Typically, 6-8 years of progressively more demanding work experience. Candidate must demonstrate a successful testing career progression. Financial industry experience is preferred.
