YOUR ROLE

As Project Architect you will lead the design and development of high-end luxury properties in Los Angeles and Abroad. In this role, you will work directly with leadership at ZURU, managing every phase of the architectural process from concept through completion. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and has a passion for luxury design. You will serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring that the client's vision is brought to life while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship and design innovation.

Responsibilities:

    • Client Management: Act as the primary liaison with the client, ensuring a clear understanding of their vision, needs, and preferences. Provide regular updates and manage client expectations throughout the project.
    • Project Design: Lead the design process from conceptualization through execution. Develop innovative and luxurious design solutions that align with the client's vision and adhere to best practices in architecture.
    • Technical Leadership: Oversee the production of detailed construction documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to local building codes and regulations.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with the client, consultants, contractors, and internal team members to ensure design integrity, timelines, and budgets are maintained.
    • Project Coordination: Manage all phases of the project, including site analysis, design development, construction documentation, and administration.
    • Quality Assurance: Ensure that the project meets the highest standards of luxury and design, overseeing quality control during construction and addressing any design-related issues.
    • Budget & Timeline Management: Develop and manage project budgets and timelines. Ensure the project stays within financial parameters and meets key deadlines.

Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
    • Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of experience in high-end residential or luxury property design.
    • Design Skills: Proven track record of delivering exceptional design solutions for luxury properties. Proficiency in high-end materials and finishes.
    • Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Rhino, etc.) and construction documentation.
    • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships and lead project teams.
    • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail, ensuring design accuracy and quality control.
    • Problem Solving: Ability to solve complex design and technical issues while maintaining a high standard of excellence.
