Summary

The Creative Marketing Production team produces original content to market current and upcoming programs, partnering with third-party production companies and in-house crews. As a Production Assistant, you'll support the team by performing administrative tasks, organizing production materials, scheduling meetings, and assisting with on-set tasks. Responsibilities include supporting the Production Coordinator, updating and archiving materials, scheduling meetings, and performing various on-set and administrative tasks. This is a project hire for approximately 12 months.
Must have:
  • 1+ years entertainment experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of pre-production/on-set protocols
  • Proficient with Mac, Google Workspace, MS Office Suite

  • Familiarity with Airtable

Job Summary:

Are you passionate about production with an eye for detail and the ability to shift priorities at a moment’s notice? This might be the role for you! The Creative Marketing Production team produces original content to market current and upcoming programs, partnering with third party production companies, as well as working directly with our in-house crew to film material for a wide variety of projects.

As the Production Assistant (PA) you will be responsible for supporting the Creative Marketing Production team perform various assigned production related tasks. The position will report to the Manager, Production and is dual parts administrative and set work.

This is a project hire opportunity expected to last approximately 12 months.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Production Coordinator and leads by performing general and project-specific administrative tasks as assigned
  • Responsible for updating, organizing and archiving all general and shoot specific production materials with guidance from the production coordinator or lead
  • Help schedule various meetings with internal and external attendees
  • Other on set and administrative tasks, as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years prior entertainment industry experience (including internships)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to work independently and ensure completion of assigned tasks
  • Overall knowledge of pre-production and on-set protocols (film study experience applies)
  • Ability to work well both within a team and autonomously
  • Mac Proficient with Google Workspace and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Airtable a plus

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience


The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $48,500.00 to $65,000.00 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
