You'll collaborate across teams, guiding products from conception to launch, bridging the technical and business realms. You'll break down complex issues into steps that drive product development. We collaborate with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc., designing and developing technologies that enhance access to global information. We guide products through the execution cycle, focusing on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring solutions for users. This role involves working with Google and YouTube Ads and Consumer teams to establish and execute a direction and roadmap that maximizes value for advertisers and YouTube. You'll drive campaigns to achieve objectives like maximizing reach and awareness, leading to consideration, store visits, and purchases. Google Ads empowers the open internet with the best technology that connects and creates value for individuals, publishers, advertisers, and Google. We build Google's Advertising products including search, display, shopping, travel, and video advertising, as well as analytics. Our teams create reliable experiences between people and businesses with effective ads. We help grow businesses of all sizes, from small businesses to large brands, and YouTube creators, with effective advertiser tools that deliver measurable results. We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale. Your responsibilities include collaborating with partner teams during product design and development to implement requirements, translating Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) into Objectives and Key Results (OKR) for one or more teams. You'll define product roadmaps by operationalizing strategy, develop and secure buy-in for a product goal that identifies, defines, and supports the overall product narrative and direction, validate market size and opportunity, drive, launch, and maintain collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch
  • Ability to adapt in a fluid environment with ambiguity and complexity
  • Ability to own, design, develop, test and commercialize products
Good to have:
  • Master's degree in a technology or a business related field
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch, working cross-functionally with Engineering, User Experience (UX)/User Interface (UI), Business Finance, and other stakeholders
  • 3 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., marketing, business operations, consulting)
  • 2 years of experience working as a product manager in the digital advertising field

  • 2 years of experience working as a product manager in the digital advertising field.

  • Develop and secure buy-in for a product goal that identifies, defines, and supports the overall product narrative and direction.
  • Validate the market size and opportunity (e.g., user-based, strategic opportunity, business).
  • Drive, launch and maintain collaboration with other cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
