JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Sourcing and purchasing projects and day-to-day sourcing related to multi-transport (inland FCL/LCL trucking, rail, domestic ocean, barge, cross-border…), nationwide distribution network design/ costing & customs clearance… for South and Central of Vietnam
Coordinate the scheduling, make cost comparisons and delivery of buying rate to ensure a good rate supply to meet Local Product requirements & strategies.
Maintain and update the list of approved vendors/suppliers and evaluate these vendors/suppliers according to their performance.
Search for new inland vendors/ suppliers and maintain good relationships with existing inland vendors/ suppliers to generate better purchasing/ payment conditions with them.
Participate in any meeting to maintain effective relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders/relevant departments for tenders/projects and daily requirements.
Become a coordinator among suppliers, Regional procurement, HSSE, Delivery/ operation team, Warehouse team, Finance, and Legal… for all pricing terms and contract sign-off with vendors
Other tasks as assigned by the direct manager.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
At least 3 years experience in local supplier management.
Have basic knowledge of the supply chain/logistics industry.
Having a good understanding of local logistics & local suppliers' network is preferable
Transport fleet management and routing network design experience is a plus
Good contract management & a high sense of risk assessment skills is a plus.
The candidate who possesses strong analytical and negotiation skills is preferred.
Experience doing transportation and customs brokerage procurement is a strong advantage.
Good logistical thinking, problem solving and a good team player.
Fluent in English. Proactive and adaptable. Integrity and honesty.
Good command of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Vision.
Travelling is a requirement sometimes.
