As an Operations Specialist - Used Car Staging & Imaging at Tesla, you will collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Refurbishment teams to manage the photography and display of used cars nationwide. Responsibilities include vehicle photography management, ensuring timely and accurate completion; vehicle display management, maintaining consistency in presentation; vehicle imaging, developing consistent image sets across locations; and image editing and uploading to online platforms. The role requires nationwide travel, exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication, photography expertise, and multitasking abilities. Success in this position is vital to Tesla’s Used Retail Operations.

What to Expect

As Operations Specialist, Used Car Staging & Imaging, you will work with cross-functionally with Sales, Operations and Refurbishment teams to plan, coordinate & undertake used car photography & display at Tesla locations nationwide. The ideal candidate will possess the technical & creative acumen to create, manage and maintain a quality & consistent output of used car images that adhere to brand’s professional guidelines. This role directly supports Tesla’s mission by creating a scalable used car sales & delivery experience for our customers.

The Operations Specialist, Used Car Staging & Imaging, will be liaising with local Sales, Refurbishment & Delivery teams to ensure vehicle refurb completion & readiness for imaging. The role to be based at Tesla Longbridge & also involves nationwide travel to multiple Tesla locations every week. The successful candidate will need to have exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication skills, experience in photography and the ability to multitask effectively. They must also be able to work collaboratively with different teams and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This role will play a critical part in the success of Tesla’s Used Retail Operations.

What You’ll Do

Vehicle photography management – communicating with site contacts when vehicles should be photographed, ensuring timely accurate completion of vehicle photography.
Vehicle display management – liaising with site contacts to have consistency at ‘Approved used’ number plates, vehicle placement at sites, regular valet, etc.
Vehicle imaging – developing consistent image sets at Tesla locations (static and consistent background, set pre-requisites for number of pictures/angles required for each model) & using the turntable (at applicable sites).
Image editing – overall image quality enhancements (if required), background unification, etc.
Image upload online (Impel + OneDrive)

What You’ll Bring

Professional/Automotive photography experience is desired
Administrative, automotive experience preferred
Ability to thrive in a team-based environment and achieve common goals
Great problem-solving skills, and strong ability to take initiative and be proactive.
Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines
Positivity, enthusiasm, and a passion towards the mission of Tesla.
Confident in learning and adapting to multiple technologies.
Able to communicate, read, and write effectively in the English language on all levels
Have the required language skills if required by our local markets
Working knowledge of image editing software (e.g .Adobe Creative Cloud products)
