Job Description

Blazesoft seeks a .Net Core Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain back-end services using C# (.NET) for third-party gaming integrations. Responsibilities include implementing APIs and SDKs, optimizing system performance, collaborating with other teams, troubleshooting issues, participating in project management, and conducting testing. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience with C#/.Net Core, strong API development skills, and a solid understanding of software development principles. Experience with MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD is preferred. This is a full-time, in-office position in Vaughan, Canada.

We are currently seeking a talented back-end developer to join our team and play a key role in designing and implementing integrations with third-party gaming operators and providers.

Main Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain back-end services using C# (.NET) to support third-party integrations with gaming operators and providers.
Implement APIs and SDKs to integrate external platforms with our gaming systems.
Optimize system performance, ensuring high availability, scalability, and reliability.
Collaborate with front-end developers, project managers, and QA to ensure seamless communication between systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to integration.
Participate in project management activities, ensuring timely delivery of tasks.
Conduct unit testing and end-to-end testing to ensure code quality and application stability.
Continuously learn and apply new technologies and best practices.

Requirements

1-3 years of hands-on experience with C#/.Net Core.
Strong understanding of API development (RESTful) and third-party integrations.
Solid understanding of software development principles, including OOP and design patterns.
Ability to debug and resolve issues in complex distributed systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
MongoDB/NoSQL: 1 year (preferred).
Docker: 1 year (preferred).
Kubernetes: 1 year (preferred).
CI/CD: 1 year (preferred).
Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Open mindset for learning and continuous improvement.

Preferred, but not required:

Experience with system integration.
Familiarity with front-end technologies, including React, CSS, and HTML.
Experience with Node.js
