Job Description

Tesla seeks a Mobile Service Technician in Haugesund, Norway, to service and repair Tesla vehicles at customer locations within the Haugesund/Stavanger area. This independent role requires using company-provided vehicles and advanced tools to perform high-quality repairs, adhering to strict standards. The technician will interact directly with customers, explaining repairs and vehicle usage. The position involves collaboration with local and regional teams and continuous professional development in electric vehicle technology. Responsibilities include diagnostics, repair, parts management, scheduling and customer service. A relevant Norwegian vocational diploma (Fagbrev) and a minimum of two years driving experience is required.

  • Professional vehicle service and repair experience
  • Norwegian vocational diploma (Fagbrev)
  • Excellent communication skills (English and Norwegian)
  • Valid driver's license (min 2 years)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

We are looking for talented Automotive Technicians (Mechanic) to join our team in Haugesund and cover the geographical area of Haugesund/Stavanger.

What You’ll Do
  • Service, repair and improve: Working with Tesla specific software and drive out to customers to service their vehicles. This is an independent position
  • Ensure top quality: Fix it right first time, we trust you to inspect our vehicles diligently before return and pre-delivery and to work with the highest quality standards.
  • Collaborate: Working across teams (local and regional) you will be sharing support and best practices to further improve the service experience. 
  • Develop: Setting you up for success our dedicated in-house training teams will train you on Tesla specific technology and the repair of Electrical Vehicles.
  • Support end to end mobile service process as needed by the business to be able to perform their core duties, with activities like parts management, scheduling, etc.
  • Customer Facing: Take ownership of all customer facing interactions. You will be required to perform basic repairs, educate customers on technical information and general usage of vehicle.
What You’ll Bring
  • Technically experienced: You have professional experience performing vehicle service and repairs working within automotive or similar industries.
  • Technically qualified: You have relevant certification to perform vehicle repairs in Norway (Fagbrev/ Vocational diploma)
  • A good communicator: You speak and write English and [local language] well and know how to 
  • get your point across clearly and respectfully
  • Safe to drive: We require you to hold a full driver’s license held for a minimum of two years
  • Flexible: You may work in shifts to support your team, which may include weekends. You are willing to travel to various sites and detail cars, when needed
  • Eligible: you have the right to work in Norway
