Activate Games is a tech company known for creating Canada’s first full-scale interactive gaming facility.  We are looking to expand our manufacturing team with the addition of a Mechanical Assembler.  The position of Mechanical Assembler involves working in a dynamic manufacturing environment with a commitment to growth through rapid prototyping.  A successful applicant will be expected to autonomously complete production tasks from part picking to completing assemblies.  Due to a constantly changing production cycle, training will be provided as new tasks are available to learn. This is a permanent, full-time position. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 11:00 pm - 7:00 am


The Duties and Responsibilities: 


  • Use various hand and power tools to complete game component assemblies based on part drawings and assembly guides
  • Update component assembly guides as changes occur
  • Prepare small-batch wiring harness orders for concept prototyping
  • Provide support during quality control testing when needed
  • Provide support during local prototype installations when needed
  • Maintain workstation cleanliness and organization
  • Maintain workspace inventory levels based on weekly checks
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned


The Qualifications: 


  • A minimum of 3-years of experience in an assembly production setting is required 
  • Experience with power tools is required 
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license is required 
  • Access to reliable transportation is required
