SS&C Advent is seeking an Event Manager in the US. The Events Team’s mission is to support the Sales pipeline, engage with clients, promote the Advent brand and to delight our clients and prospects through face to face interaction. What You Will Get To Do:
- Collaborate with events marketing and solutions marketing team to develop event strategies to align with overall SS&C Advent strategy and branding with input from key internal stakeholders across different departments
- Coordinate and execute client-facing events from inception to completion including but not limited to tradeshows, live events and the annual SS&C client conference
- Support internal events which may include company kick off and team trainings
- Work with cross-functional teams and the senior events manager to ensure positioning, messaging, goals, deliverables, and tactics are achieved before, during, and after each respective event
- Build and maintain excellent working relationships with internal clients, vendors and partners
- Research meeting space, event technology and new concepts to offer recommendations based on meeting requirements, size and budget.
- Build and manage events budget for full program and individual events including reconciling all invoices and post event reporting
- Generate, evaluate and report on events programs success as part of overall business objectives. Share results with key stakeholders, identifying impact to business and adapting event programs accordingly
- Oversee internal project management for event program and ensure events are delivered on schedule, with superior quality and on budget.
- Offer onsite support at conferences, conventions, workshops, customer events, and other marketing events, as needed
- This position involves approximately 20% travel

Personal Attributes
- 5+ years of experience managing all aspects of event planning from conception to post event reporting in event production, an event agency or corporate events
- Intermediate or above skill in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience with event budgeting and contract negotiations
- Experience conducting analysis of event data and results
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams
- Advanced time management and communication skills
- Experience with Cvent, Marketo, Salesforce and Workfront is a bonus!

NY: Salary range for the position: 100,000 USD to 105,000 USD.
