Job Title: Release Manager

Experience : 5-8 Yrs

Qualification: Graduate in Computer Science or a related field with good understanding in commercial process and work experience in IT industry

Job Description

Candidate should have below experience as a minimum.

 Collaborating with teams: Working with developers, testers, IT management, and project managers to ensure that updates are built and delivered on time

 Developing automation tools: Creating scripts and tools to build, integrate, and deploy software releases

 Managing release information: Maintaining a release repository and managing information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists

 Researching new methodologies: Exploring new software development and configuration management methodologies and technologies

 Leading go-live activities: Coordinating the execution of deployment plans and checklists

 Participating in CAB meetings: Discussing release scope and roadblocks with the team

 Improving the release process: Continuously working to improve the release process

 Identifying and managing risks: Identifying risks that could delay the release and managing them

 Tracking progress: Tracking the progress of the release and finding any issues

 Communicating with stakeholders: Communicating release schedules, progress, risks, and other important information to stakeholders

 Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CD/CI) pipelines

 Experience with DevOps and Agile methodologies

 Knowledge of application infrastructure, system architecture, and operating system

 Good communication skills
