Position Overview

Autodesk's Emerging Media and Entertainment Technology Team is hiring a Machine Learning Developer to join our team and work on cutting-edge projects that help our customers imagine, design, and create a better world.

Reporting to our Director of R&D, you will help us improve and implement ML models and ensure deployment to the cloud.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance ML models and AI techniques
  • Build experimental pipelines and prototypes
  • Handle large-scale data processing
  • Work with the Advanced Engineering team on AI solutions
  • Develop and maintain ML Ops workflows and pipelines
  • Ensure the scalability and reliability of ML models in production
  • Automate model training, deployment, and monitoring processes
  • Implement model versioning and tracking for reproducibility

Minimum Qualifications

  • BSc or MSc in AI/ML-related fields (Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, etc.)
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience with DevOps or ML Ops experience (experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Proficiency with Python and/or C++
  • Knowledge of fundamental CS algorithms and statistical methods for ML
  • Experience with Deep Learning techniques and frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Ability to learn and adapt in new areas
  • Effective interpersonal skills and a growth mindset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in computational geometry and geometric methods
  • Expertise in network architectures, process automation, and resilience management
  • Knowledge of multi-modal deep learning, information retrieval, NLP, or reinforcement learning
  • PhD in an AI/ML-related field
