About Us:
OverActive Media is a leader in the esports industry, committed to building a dynamic and inclusive environment. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Team Manager for our Movistar KOI League of LEC, who will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless operations in alignment with OverActive Media’s policies.

Position Overview:
This position is responsible for setting goals, providing guidance, and tracking progress for the LEC team and coaching staff regarding their health and performance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Goal Setting & Guidance: Establish individual and team goals tailored to enhance overall performance.
  • Program Implementation: Develop and implement programs designed to improve physical fitness, emotional regulation, stress management, team cohesion, and the ability to handle pressure.
  • Performance Tracking: Measure and evaluate progress regularly to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Performance Manager to coordinate efforts on fitness and nutrition.

This role reports directly to the Senior Performance Manager and plays a critical role in optimizing the performance of players and coaches.

Key Responsibilities:

Psychological Skills Training: Provide training on emotional management, stress management, confidence building, communication, team cohesion, concentration, and other key psychological skills.

Assessment Administration: Administer and evaluate psychological assessment tools to assess mental well-being.

Mindfulness Practices: Lead and teach mindfulness techniques to enhance focus and resilience.

Routine Development: Create and implement daily routines that optimize performance for both staff and players.

Mental Health Monitoring: Monitor the mental health of players and staff, offering ongoing support through one-on-one and group sessions.

Progress Tracking: Track and measure progress to ensure continuous improvement in mental performance.

Performance Routines: Design and lead daily routines aimed at health and performance enhancement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sports & Exercise Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with tier 1 esports teams.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Sports Psychology.
  • Previous experience as an athlete.
