Responsibilities
Responsibilities:-
Project Management
- Create Design Brief in collaboration with the respective departments that meets the Project Vision and Statement.
- Identify and appoint of International / Local Interior Design Consultants that meet the Quality Standards and cost
- Manage the Schedule and Material Selection for Building Interior works. Technical and Commercial evaluation of vendor proposals and preparation of comparisons and recommendation
- Work closely with the consultants to get ID executed as per brief & in line with agreed project timelines
- Oversee and manage interior design projects from Concept to Completion
- Coordination and review of ID package for show flats, sample flats, experience center, sales offices, residential, commercial, mixed-use buildings, etc. including Amenity buildings, Clubhouses, Entrance Lobby, Commercial Lobby, special areas as per project requirements.
- Review and optimization of design, BOQ, and Material specifications for Interior Works
- Study and highlight BOQ deviations, rate escalations and procurement of long lead items, review of Shop drawings etc. during Tender stage.
- Improve Marketability of the project by adding differentiators through ID Interventions, and helping create the marketing material for the same
- Scout for new materials in the market and collaborate with the Purchase team to ensure Material Selection & approval is within approved budget
- Developing network with Industry professionals and keeping updates of ongoing development & trends to create database for knowledge management for the organization
- Develop and periodically update Standards & Processes to deliver committed Quality
- Use innovative material & design concepts/ideas which creates differentiators for the project. Integrate sustainable design principles and practices into projects when possible.
- Make on site visits to check on project status and report on project. Ensure that all works are carried out with specific standards, guidelines, regulations budgets and timelines
Innovation
- Innovate and develop new standards, policies, and procedures for interior design, as necessary to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
- Drive innovation and incorporation of the latest technologies / trends such as smart integrated spaces, Biophilic designs, flexible/Multifunctional spaces etc. to produce vibrant Interior designs
- Remain updated with the current and trending elements of design, construction, and technology and upgrade standards and specifications from time to time to remain relevant
Team Management
- Manage the support team for ID project deliverables
- Set team KRAs to achieve the yearly objectives.
- Encourage the team to contribute ideas to improve ongoing projects and potential projects
- Creates functional strategies and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the department infrastructure
- Oversees recruitment efforts to provide project teams with architectural and engineering personnel as needed.
Qualifications
Qualification:-
Bachelor’s degree in architecture – B. Arch
Experience:-
15-17 plus years of total experience with minimum 10 years experience in leading the interior design function in reputed developer offices.
