As the IT Site Manager at Penumbra, you will play a critical role in determining the company's long term goals. You will specialize in Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Infrastructure, and IT Services. This position will oversee and optimize IT operations, ensuring the seamless integration of MES solutions, supporting infrastructure, and providing efficient IT services to support organizational goals in Roseville, CA.
What You’ll Work On
• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of MES solutions to enhance manufacturing efficiency, quality, and overall operational excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure MES aligns with organizational objectives and meets industry standards.
• Ability to effectively engage with external and internal stakeholders in the identification and analysis of business process issues and business requirements.
• Systems Integration: Support the integration of digital solutions with existing manufacturing systems, ensuring seamless operation and data flow.
• User Experience (UX): Enhance the digital user experience for employees, operators, and stakeholders involved in manufacturing operations.
• Work closely with IT infrastructure team to ensure a secure and efficient working environment.
• Participate in the planning and implementation of infrastructure upgrades, maintenance, and expansion as needed with IT infrastructure team.
• Work closely with the IT services team to ensure a reliable and on time resolution of service tickets by the team that supports day-to-day operations.
• Collaborate internally with IT teams to implement and maintain systems, networks, and applications to meet business requirements.
• Work closely with production, quality assurance, and other relevant departments to integrate MES into daily operations seamlessly.
• Collaborate with IT teams to align technology initiatives with business goals and ensure IT services meet the needs of the site.
What You Contribute
• A Bachelor's degree in manufacturing systems or related field with 8+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong and proven experience in successfully implementing and optimizing MES solutions within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong expertise in business functions of the Manufacturing systems such as MES, PLM, QMS, etc.
• Familiarity with industry-standard MES software and technologies like Camstar, SAP ERP etc.
• Good background in infrastructure and equipment.
• Ability to support plans for infrastructure improvements and expansion.
• Strong experience in IT services, including systems administration, application support.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices to ensure a secure IT environment.
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on fostering collaboration and driving a culture of continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve complex issues related to MES, infrastructure, and IT services.
• Proactive approach to troubleshooting and implementing effective solutions
• Medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated industry experience desired
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize assignments while handling various projects simultaneously
Working Conditions
General office environment. Willingness and ability to work on site. May have business travel from 0% - 10%. Potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens. Requires some lifting and moving of up to 10 pounds. Must be able to move between buildings and floors. Must be able to remain stationary and use a computer or other standard office equipment, such as a printer or copy machine, for an extensive period of time each day. Must be able to read, prepare emails, and produce documents and spreadsheets. Must be able to move within the office and access file cabinets or supplies, as needed. Must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information with employees at all levels on a daily basis.
Annual Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 / year
